SUMMARY:AN INVITION TO THE PALESTINIAN LAND EXERCISE
DESCRIPTION:IT DIDN’T’ START ON OCTOBER 7TH. \nThe Palestinian Land Exercise is a participatory exercise that traces the history of Palestinian-Israeli relations using the format of the Kairos Blanket Exercise\, (looking at the effects of colonization in Canada). In the exercise\, we will take on the role of the Palestinians and actively experience some of the major events that have happened since the end of the 19th Century in Palestine and Israel. \nThe exercise might challenge your beliefs about the situation in Palestine and Israel. \nCome with an open mind and heart to hear stories of people directly affected in the Palestinian context. \nThe play will be followed by a sharing circle where all are invited to respond and reflect on what we have learned. The event concludes with a discussion of steps you might take to promote an end to the occupation and to work for Justice for ALL citizens of Palestine and Israel. \nSpaces are limited to 25 people and pre-registration is required.
